These days, a pro-gamer is a widely known profession especially in the world of online game. However, what if your close friend told you about being one 15 years ago? At that time, you might have worried of him/her because a gamer was not regarded as a serious occupation.

 

 

Believe it or not, exactly 15 years ago, I was a pro-gamer with nimble hands and clear mind. That was how I started my career in this online game industry. Now looking back, I tried really hard what I was doing, training myself nights and days with so much passion. Though I couldn’t make myself the most successful pro-gamer, I learned a lot about severe competition, self-control and survive.

 

 

After 2 years of experience in the e-sports business, I decided to go back to university and continue studies in business management while having the idea to come back to the game industry one day.

 

 

After graduation, I got into a game company that owned a professional e-sports team, only one existing at that time in Korea. I thought it was my destiny... I couldn't believe I became one of the project managers of the company. I had dreamed that moment.

 

 

Then, I worked harder than anyone else there because making a game was really fun. I thought it was my calling. While going through several game companies, I was able to gain a great amount of experience with many game titles. Also, I had chances to visit many local game publishers in numerous countries as business trip and to meet many incredible people like Mr. Lee, Mr. Eom Force and Danjun.
